不叫他们知道
我们今天所读的经文与马可福音中的描述稍有不同。在马可福音4:11，耶稣说：“神国的奥秘，只叫你们知道，若是对外人讲，凡事就用比喻。”
你尝试学过别的语言吗？这不是一件容易的事，但如果你努力学习，是可以变得相当流利的。然而，若要学习一种语言的微妙之处和幽默感，就更有挑战了。要达到这种水平，你通常就需要沉浸在那种文化中，每天与当地的人交流才行。
耶稣呼召祂的门徒，他们跟随了祂，称祂为老师。他们愿意花时间和祂在一起，不断地向祂学习。事实上，他们付上了所有时间和祂在一起；最终，他们了解并开始明白祂的目的。
对那些愿意完全活在祂国度的人，耶稣会告诉他们天国的奥秘。但是，对那些不愿转向耶稣，询问并质疑祂为何而来的人，便会停留在边缘地带，无法明白微妙之处和奥秘。
你还需要进深吗？你需要花更多时间聆听耶稣在你内心的低语吗？祂盼望我们回转向祂，得赦免，拥有完满的生命！这是拥有神国生命的唯一条件。

马太福音 13:10-17
10 门徒进前来，问耶稣说：“对众人讲话为什么用比喻呢？”
11 耶稣回答说：“因为天国的奥秘只叫你们知道，不叫他们知道。
12 凡有的，还要加给他，叫他有余；凡没有的，连他所有的也要夺去。
13 所以我用比喻对他们讲，是因他们看也看不见，听也听不见，也不明白。
14 在他们身上，正应了以赛亚的预言说：‘你们听是要听见，却不明白；看是要看见，却不晓得。
15 因为这百姓油蒙了心，耳朵发沉，眼睛闭着，恐怕眼睛看见，耳朵听见，心里明白，回转过来，我就医治他们。’
16 但你们的眼睛是有福的，因为看见了；你们的耳朵也是有福的，因为听见了。
17 “我实在告诉你们：从前有许多先知和义人要看你们所看的，却没有看见；要听你们所听的，却没有听见。
But Not To Them
“The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them.” — Matthew 13:11
Our verse for today is stated in a slightly different way in the gospel of Mark. In Mark 4:11, Jesus states, “The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those on the outside everything is said in parables.”
Have you ever tried to learn another language? That is not an easy task, but you can become fairly fluent if you put in the effort to learn. It is quite another challenge, though, to learn the subtle nuances and humor of a language. To get to that level, you usually need to immerse yourself in the culture and talk with the local people every day.
Jesus called his disciples, and they followed along with him as their teacher. They were willing to spend time with him and learn from him constantly. In fact, they spent all their time with him, and eventually they learned and began to understand his purposes.
To those who are willing to live fully in his kingdom Jesus gives the secrets of the kingdom. But all who are not willing to turn to Jesus, and to ask and learn why he has come, will stand on the periphery, unable to understand the nuances, the mysteries.
Do you need to press further in? Do you need to spend more time listening to the whispers that Jesus speaks to your heart? He wants us to turn to him and be forgiven, and to have life to the full! This is the only condition for life in his kingdom.
Lord Jesus, I am willing. Help me to press into you and immerse myself in the full life of your kingdom. In your name, Amen.
