悔改后的奖赏
别迦摩教会中有些人陷入了偶像崇拜和不道德的行为。耶稣呼吁他们悔改，否则，审判就会临到。
但是，对于所有愿意悔改的人，对于那些渴望委身于耶稣的人，会有得胜为他们存留。祂说，祂将赐他们“隐藏的吗哪”。这指向了旧约中神的子民得着日用的吗哪作为食物（出 16章）。神用这种“天上来的粮”在沙漠中养育他们，以此来表达祂的爱。耶稣在这一联系的基础上宣告，祂是真正的天粮，是赐给世人生命的。所有凭着信心来到耶稣面前的人都会得着喂养心灵的食粮。耶稣是生命之粮，祂开启了永生之门（约 6:32-51）。

38因为我从天上降下来，不是要按自己的意思行，乃是要按那差我来者的意思行。
39差我来者的意思就是：他所赐给我的，叫我一个也不失落，在末日却叫他复活。
40因为我父的意思是叫一切见子而信的人得永生，并且在末日我要叫他复活。”
Rewards Follow Repentance
"To the one who is victorious, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give that person a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to the one who receives it." — Revelation 2:17
Jesus called the Pergamum church, some of whom were slipping into idolatry and immorality, to repent. Otherwise, judgment would come.
But to all who would repent, to those who were eager to commit to Jesus, there would be victory. He would give them "some of the hidden manna," he said. This refers back to God's Old Testament people receiving a daily supply of manna for their food (Exodus 16). God sustained them in the desert with this "bread from heaven" as a sign of his love. Jesus built on that connection by announcing that he is the true bread from heaven who gives life to the world. All who come to Jesus in faith will receive bread that feeds the soul. Jesus, the bread of life, opens the door to eternal life (John 6:32-51).
Jesus also said that each repentant believer would receive "a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to the one who receives it." We aren't sure what this means, but it seems related to having a new relationship with God in Christ and a new character that is treasured deep within one's heart. Though some details here are mysterious, the message is clear: Jesus calls us to live faithfully for him, and he promises eternal life to all who fully believe and trust in him.
Lord Jesus, reign over our hearts as we live for you in this world. We trust in you for eternal life. Amen.
