农夫、种子和土壤
耶稣以一个撒种的农夫开始了这个比喻。种子是好种子，也就是天国的信息。种子落在几种不同的土壤中：路边，石头地上，荆棘地里，以及好土里。
尽管耶稣给门徒们解释了这个比喻，我们还是有不少困惑。种子落在好土里，结实“一百倍，六十倍，三十倍”究竟是什么样子的？读者和听众们想知道，自己是不是耶稣所描述的能结实累累的好土呢？
在耶稣的传道事工中有很多线索，告诉我们有重大收获的生命是什么样的，但我们也可以思想耶稣在路加福音 4:18所说的：“主的灵在我身上，因为他用膏膏我，叫我传福音给贫穷的人。差遣我报告被掳的得释放，瞎眼的得看见，叫那受压制的得自由。”
我们被呼召要像耶稣，祂的事工就是我们的事工。圣灵已经在我们身上，所以我们都被呼召走出去做同样的事。
耶稣，感谢你的话语！感谢你的圣灵！我祈求自己的生命能为你带来丰硕的收成，并且我能奉你的名服事。阿们。
马太福音 13:3-9; 18-23
3 他用比喻对他们讲许多道理，说：“有一个撒种的出去撒种。
4 撒的时候，有落在路旁的，飞鸟来吃尽了。
5 有落在土浅石头地上的，土既不深，发苗最快，
6 日头出来一晒，因为没有根，就枯干了。
7 有落在荆棘里的，荆棘长起来，把它挤住了。
8 又有落在好土里的，就结实，有一百倍的，有六十倍的，有三十倍的。
9 有耳可听的，就应当听！”
18 所以，你们当听这撒种的比喻：
19 凡听见天国道理不明白的，那恶者就来，把所撒在他心里的夺了去，这就是撒在路旁的了。
20 撒在石头地上的，就是人听了道，当下欢喜领受，
21 只因心里没有根，不过是暂时的，及至为道遭了患难，或是受了逼迫，立刻就跌倒了。
22 撒在荆棘里的，就是人听了道，后来有世上的思虑、钱财的迷惑把道挤住了，不能结实。
23 撒在好地上的，就是人听道明白了，后来结实，有一百倍的，有六十倍的，有三十倍的。”
Sower, Seeds, Soils
“When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in their heart.” — Matthew 13:19
Jesus begins this parable with a farmer scattering seed. The seed is good seed, the message of the kingdom of heaven. The seed falls into many different soils: pathway soil, rocky soil, thorn-infested soil, and good soil.
Though Jesus explains this parable to his disciples, we still wonder about many things. What exactly does it look like when the seed falls on good soil and produces a crop, “yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown”? The reader, the listener, wants to know if they are the good soil, producing the bountiful harvest Jesus describes.
Throughout his ministry Jesus gives many clues on what a life that produces a significant harvest might look like, but we can also consider the mission Jesus claims in Luke 4:18: “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free.”
Because we are called to be like Jesus, his mission is our mission. And the Holy Spirit has been given to us, so we are called to go out and do the same.
Jesus, thank you for your Word! Thank you for your Spirit! I pray that my life will produce an abundant harvest for you, and that I may serve in your name. Amen.
