配受敬拜的羔羊！
圣经学者告诉我们，每当罗马皇帝进城的时候，国民都会呼喊：“配受敬拜的！”然而，那位因为口称耶稣为主而被放逐的使徒约翰知道，唯有耶稣才是配受敬拜的——而不是皇帝。
今天我们受邀，以属灵的眼睛来观看约翰所看见的天堂异象。我们被召集与众多天使和其他活物一起来歌唱，高呼主是配受敬拜的。
神配受我们一切的颂赞和尊崇，因为祂是创造又是救赎的主。我们的每一口呼吸，都来自于造我们的那位；我们的新生命，都是基督的宝血买赎回来的。
我们的主耶稣、这位曾被宰杀的羔羊，配得打开历史的书卷（参启示录5:6-9）。那位曾死在十架之后复活、赐给我们新生命，以致我们可以服侍祂并与祂一起作王的，正是现在掌权的那位。天上地下所有的权柄都赐给祂了，祂的国度没有穷尽。
让我们与万物齐声歌唱赞美我们的神、我们的王！“愿颂赞、尊贵、荣耀、能力都归给祂，直到永远！...... 阿们。”
主啊，我们的创造者、维系者、救主和君王啊，我们敬拜祢！我们跪拜祢的面前，齐声歌唱赞美祢说，“曾被杀的羔羊是配受敬拜的”，愿荣耀和颂赞都归给祢！奉耶稣的名祷告，阿们。
启示录 5
1我看见坐宝座的右手中有书卷，里外都写着字，用七印封严了。
2我又看见一位大力的天使大声宣传说：“有谁配展开那书卷，揭开那七印呢？”
3在天上、地上、地底下，没有能展开、能观看那书卷的。
4因为没有配展开、配观看那书卷的，我就大哭。
5长老中有一位对我说：“不要哭！看哪，犹大支派中的狮子，大卫的根，他已得胜，能以展开那书卷，揭开那七印。”
6我又看见宝座与四活物，并长老之中有羔羊站立，像是被杀过的，有七角七眼，就是神的七灵，奉差遣往普天下去的。
7这羔羊前来，从坐宝座的右手里拿了书卷。
8他既拿了书卷，四活物和二十四位长老就俯伏在羔羊面前，各拿着琴和盛满了香的金炉；这香就是众圣徒的祈祷。
9他们唱新歌，说： 你配拿书卷， 配揭开七印； 因为你曾被杀， 用自己的血 从各族、各方、各民、各国中买了人来， 叫他们归于神，
10又叫他们成为国民， 作祭司归于神， 在地上执掌王权。
11我又看见且听见，宝座与活物并长老的周围有许多天使的声音；他们的数目有千千万万，
12大声说： 曾被杀的羔羊是配得 权柄、丰富、智慧、能力、 尊贵、荣耀、颂赞的。
13我又听见在天上、地上、地底下、沧海里，和天地间一切所有被造之物，都说： 但愿颂赞、尊贵、荣耀、权势 都归给坐宝座的和羔羊， 直到永永远远！
14四活物就说：“阿们！”众长老也俯伏敬拜。
Worship The One Who Is Worthy
"Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!" — Revelation 5:12
Bible scholars tells us that whenever a Roman emperor entered a city, the citizens shouted, "Worthy!" The apostle John, who had been exiled because he confessed Jesus as Lord, knew that only Jesus was worthy—not the emperor.
Today we are invited to see with spiritual eyes what John saw happening in heaven. We are summoned to join with the multitude of angels and other creatures in singing that the Lord is worthy.
God is worthy of all our praise and honor because he is the Creator and Savior. We owe every breath to the One who has made us, and we have new life, purchased by the blood of Christ, because he was slain for our sake.
Our Lord Jesus, the Lamb who was slain, is worthy to open the scroll of history (explained in Rev. 6-9). The One who died on the cross and rose from the dead, giving us new life in order to serve and rule with him, is the One who now reigns. All authority in heaven and on earth belongs to him, and his kingdom will never end.
Shall we lift up our voices and sing with all the creatures of our God and King? "To him . . . be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever! . . . Amen."
We worship you, Lord, our Creator, Sustainer, Savior, and King. We bow before you and join our voices in praise as we sing: "Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain." To you be all glory and praise! Amen.
