先求祂的国
我们既为健康忧虑，又为财富忧虑。我们既为孩子忧虑，又为父母忧虑。我们总在忧虑！这是我们的第二天性。我们忧虑，因为我们在乎。我们在乎自己，在乎他人。谁能为此责怪我们呢？
但是耶稣说：“你们要先求他的国和他的义。这些东西都要加给你们了。”在世上寻求神的国就是爱神、爱邻舍和爱自己。寻求神的义则意味着，接受这三件事——第一，神是主；第二，我们的邻舍是神的儿女；第三，我们是被神所爱的。接受和操练两大诫命的这三个方面，会给我们内心带来平安。如果我们从这个角度去审视、并做每一件事，那么就知道我们的日子掌握在神的手中。
所以，你要首先专注在那爱你、且看顾你所爱之人的神身上。每天先来寻求祂的国和祂独特的义。“你们若专心寻求我，就必寻见。耶和华说”（耶 29:13-14）。
主啊，我们张开双手，相信在我们寻求你，寻求你的国和你的义时，我们的全人以及我们拥有的一切都是你所珍视的。请帮助我们以无畏的信心生活。奉耶稣的名，阿们。
马太福音 6:25-34
25 所以我告诉你们，不要为生命忧虑吃什么喝什么，为身体忧虑穿什么。生命不胜于饮食吗？身体不胜于衣裳吗？
26 你们看那天上的飞鸟，也不种也不收，也不积蓄在仓里，你们的天父尚且养活它，你们不比飞鸟贵重得多吗？
27 你们哪一个能用思虑使寿数多加一刻呢？
28 何必为衣裳忧虑呢？你想野地里的百合花怎么长起来，它也不劳苦，也不纺线，
29 然而我告诉你们：就是所罗门极荣华的时候，他所穿戴的还不如这花一朵呢！
30 你们这小信的人哪！野地里的草今天还在，明天就丢在炉里，神还给它这样的装饰，何况你们呢？
31 所以，不要忧虑说吃什么、喝什么、穿什么。
32 这都是外邦人所求的。你们需用的这一切东西，你们的天父是知道的。
33 你们要先求他的国和他的义，这些东西都要加给你们了。
34 所以，不要为明天忧虑，因为明天自有明天的忧虑。一天的难处一天当就够了。
Seek First His Kingdom
“Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.” — Matthew 6:33-34
We worry about our health and our wealth. We worry about our children and our parents. We worry! It is second nature to us. We worry because we care. We care about ourselves and about others. Who can fault us for that?
But Jesus says, “Seek first [God’s] kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Seeking God’s kingdom on earth is to love God, love neighbor, love self. Seeking God’s righteousness means accepting all three—accept that God is Lord, that our neighbors are his children too, and that we are loved by God. Accepting and acting on these three aspects of the two great commandments brings peace in our hearts. If everything we do is seen and lived through this lens, then we know that our days are in God’s hands.
So focus first on the God who loves you, and who cares for the people you love. Seek first his kingdom and his way of righteousness every day. “‘Seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,’ declares the Lord” (Jeremiah 29:13-14).
Lord God, we hold our hands open, entrusting all that we are and all that we hold dear to you as we seek you, your kingdom, and your righteousness. Help us to live with bold trust. In Jesus, Amen.
