腓力和拿但业遇见了耶稣。
你听过“the wrong side of the tracks”（出身寒微的人住的地方）这句话吗？假若某城市被铁轨一分为二，住在路轨其中一边的人，往往对住在另一边的人有偏见，他们会说这些人是来自“出身寒微的人住的地方”。
第一次听到关于耶稣的事情时，拿但业认为耶稣是来自“出身寒微的人住的地方” 的；腓力尝试告诉拿但业，耶稣就是那位要成就神的应许的人，然而，听到耶稣来自拿撒勒后，拿但业便这样说：“拿撒勒还能出什么好的吗？”
腓力只简单回应说：“你来看。”他没有尝试说服拿但业相信耶稣，他只是鼓励拿但业亲身去看看耶稣是谁和衪做的事情，而不要理会衪来自哪一个城市。
对我们和我们遇到的每一个人来说，这是一个何等完美的邀请！我们能做到和能为别人提供最好的一件事情，就是邀请他们来见耶稣。我们可以看到神藉着衪的儿子赐给我们的救恩，我们可以看到主的恩典、能力、和赦罪之恩。耶稣到来，拆毁了世人、群体、和国家之间的阻隔，衪显明神赐给每一个地方和每一个人的慈爱。你也来看看吧！
神啊，当我们来见你的儿子耶稣时，求你打开我们的眼睛，好叫我们知道祂是我们的救主和主。又求你今天打开我们的心灵，来接受祂进入我们的生命中。阿们。

43又次日，耶稣想要往加利利去，遇见腓力，就对他说：“来跟从我吧！”
44这腓力是伯赛大人，和安得烈、彼得同城。
45腓力找着拿但业，对他说：“摩西在律法上所写的和众先知所记的那一位，我们遇见了，就是约瑟的儿子拿撒勒人耶稣。”
46拿但业对他说：“拿撒勒还能出什么好的吗？”腓力说：“你来看！”
47耶稣看见拿但业来，就指着他说：“看哪，这是个真以色列人，他心里是没有诡诈的！”
48拿但业对耶稣说：“你从哪里知道我呢？”耶稣回答说：“腓力还没有招呼你，你在无花果树底下，我就看见你了。”
49拿但业说：“拉比，你是神的儿子，你是以色列的王！”
50耶稣对他说：“因为我说在无花果树底下看见你，你就信吗？你将要看见比这更大的事！”
51又说：“我实实在在地告诉你们：你们将要看见天开了，神的使者上去下来在人子身上。”
“We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also wrote—Jesus of Nazareth. . . . Come and see,” said Philip. - John 1:45-46
Philip and Nathanael met Jesus.
Do you know the expression “the wrong side of the tracks”? If a town was divided by railroad tracks, people living on one side often showed their prejudice for people on the other side by saying they were from “the wrong side of the tracks.”
Nathanael thought Jesus was from the wrong side of the tracks when he first heard about him. Philip was trying to tell Nathanael that Jesus was the fulfillment of God’s promises. But when Nathanael heard that Jesus was from Nazareth, he said, “Can anything good come from there?”
Philip’s response was simple: “Come and see.” He didn’t try to argue Nathanael into believing in Jesus. He just encouraged Nathanael to see for himself who Jesus was and what he was doing, regardless of the town Jesus came from.
What a perfect invitation to us and to each person we encounter! The best thing we can do and the best thing we can offer others is to see Jesus. We can see God’s offer of salvation through his Son. We can see the Lord’s grace, power, and forgiveness of sin. Jesus came to break down all the barriers between people and groups and nations, showing that God offers his love to all people everywhere. Come and see!
God, when we come to see your Son, Jesus, open our eyes to recognize him as our Savior and Lord. Open our hearts to receive him into our lives today. Amen.
