恩典的绿洲
绿洲是沙漠中有水的地方，它就像贫瘠旷野中的一个小岛，人们在那里可以重新得力和歇息。
赐给利未人的四十八座城邑中，有六座是用来做逃城的-就像沙漠中的绿洲。这些逃城分布在以色列各地，它们是为误杀了人的逃犯而设的，他们可以逃到这些逃城中。被控谋杀的罪犯仍然要受到审判，但逃城保护那人不会被人私下报复。
逃城是一个安全、好客、安息、公平、和恩典的地方，就像捉人游戏（tag）中的安全区；在逃城里，被控谋杀的罪人便安全了，这样便能保证他一定会得到合理和公正的对待。
既然我们是神恩典的受惠者，我们就必须成为别人恩典的绿洲，藉着与人分享我们已得到的恩典，让我们的家庭和教会成为别人的逃城。
世界上很多人都需要一个可以安顿下来获得安息的地方。你有没有为受创伤的人开放你的家庭呢？我们的教会有没有欢迎那些需要赦免和医治的人呢？
让我们以神的爱伸出手来，帮助人重新得力吧。
父啊，求你帮助我们为别人提供恩典的绿洲。惟愿我们能与人分享我们在基督里得到的怜悯。奉衪的名祈求。阿们。
民数记 35:6-15
6你们给利未人的城邑，其中当有六座逃城，使误杀人的可以逃到那里，此外还要给他们四十二座城。
7你们要给利未人的城，共有四十八座，连城带郊野都要给他们。
8以色列人所得的地业从中要把些城邑给利未人。人多的就多给，人少的就少给。各支派要按所承受为业之地把城邑给利未人。”
9耶和华晓谕摩西说：
10“你吩咐以色列人说：你们过约旦河，进了迦南地，
11就要分出几座城，为你们做逃城，使误杀人的可以逃到那里。
12这些城可以做逃避报仇人的城，使误杀人的不至于死，等他站在会众面前听审判。
13你们所分出来的城，要做六座逃城。
14在约旦河东要分出三座城，在迦南地也要分出三座城，都做逃城。
15这六座城要给以色列人和他们中间的外人，并寄居的，作为逃城，使误杀人的都可以逃到那里。
An Oasis Of Grace
"Select some towns to be your cities of refuge, to which a person who has killed someone accidentally may flee." - Numbers 35:11
An oasis is a place in the desert where water is found. It's like an island in a barren wilderness where people can find refreshment and rest.
Six of the forty-eight cities that were given to the Levites were to be cities of refuge—like an oasis in the desert. These cities were sprinkled throughout Israel, and they served as a refuge for anyone who accidentally took the life of another person. The one accused of murder still faced a trial, but a city of refuge protected that person from vigilante justice.
Cities of refuge were a place of safety, hospitality, rest, justice, and grace. They were like home base in a game of tag. The accused murderer was safe in the city of refuge. The refugee could be assured of being treated fairly and justly.
As recipients of God's grace, we must be an oasis of grace to others. We need to make our homes and churches a refuge for others by sharing the same grace that we have received.
Many people in our world need a place to settle and find rest. Is your home open to people who are hurting? Are our churches welcoming to people who need forgiveness and healing?
Reach out to refresh others with God's love.
Father, help us to provide oases of grace to others. May we share the same mercy that we have received in Christ. In his name, Amen.
