你们有吃的没有？
多年前，我们住在安大略省东部的一个湖边。我们经常拿着钓竿出去，看看水里有没有鱼，在有些季节我们会钓到更多的鱼。我们放生了许多太阳鱼，好让它们长大些；有些鲈鱼最终在平底锅里被煎了。当然我们并不是钓鱼的专家。
今天这个故事中的渔夫们很专业。他们不知道是谁在岸边呼唤他们，但他们知道在船上钓鱼是怎么回事。然而这一天，他们不确信是否会有收获；他们已经钓了一整夜，却什么也没钓到。
这些人最近的日子也不好过。他们一直在追随弥赛亚耶稣，但结局令他们感到困惑。耶稣死而复活了，但罗马当局仍然掌控着一切。弥赛亚在做什么呢？
接着，他们把网撒向另一边，收获了很多鱼，以至于拉不上来。这时，他们的脑海中闪过了一个念头：“是主！”（见路 5:1-11）。最后，他们把满溢的渔网拖上岸，渔网却没有破。这提醒我们，神所能做的，超过我们所求所想。（弗 3:20）
今天，耶稣提醒我们，祂也呼召了我们跟随祂。耶稣在你的生活中要做什么？在你的邻舍间，在你的社区里，在你所到之处。祂是否在呼召你再次信靠祂，就像你最初遇见祂时那样？
主啊，感谢你丰盛的爱。你不断呼召我们去爱你和他人。阿们。
约翰福音 21:1-14
1这些事以后，耶稣在提比哩亚海边又向门徒显现。他怎样显现记在下面。
2有西门彼得和称为低土马的多马，并加利利的迦拿人拿但业，还有西庇太的两个儿子，又有两个门徒，都在一处。
3西门彼得对他们说：“我打鱼去。”他们说：“我们也和你同去。”他们就出去，上了船，那一夜并没有打着什么。
4天将亮的时候，耶稣站在岸上，门徒却不知道是耶稣。
5耶稣就对他们说：“小子，你们有吃的没有？”他们回答说：“没有。”
6耶稣说：“你们把网撒在船的右边，就必得着。”他们便撒下网去，竟拉不上来了，因为鱼甚多。
7耶稣所爱的那门徒对彼得说：“是主！”那时西门彼得赤着身子，一听见是主，就束上一件外衣，跳在海里。
8其余的门徒离岸不远，约有二百肘，就在小船上把那网鱼拉过来。
9他们上了岸，就看见那里有炭火，上面有鱼又有饼。
10耶稣对他们说：“把刚才打的鱼拿几条来。”
11西门彼得就去，把网拉到岸上。那网满了大鱼，共一百五十三条。鱼虽这样多，网却没有破。
12耶稣说：“你们来吃早饭。”门徒中没有一个敢问他“你是谁？”，因为知道是主。
13耶稣就来拿饼和鱼给他们。
14耶稣从死里复活以后向门徒显现，这是第三次。
Haven't You Any Fish?
"Simon Peter . . . dragged the net ashore. It was full of large fish, 153, but even with so many the net was not torn." - John 21:11
Years ago we lived on the edge of a lake in eastern Ontario. We often took our fishing poles out to see what might be swimming in the water. Some seasons were better than others, and we released many sunfish so that they could grow bigger. Some bass ended up in the frying pan, but we certainly were not experts.
The fishermen in today's story were experts. They didn't know who was calling out to them from the shore, but they knew what it was like to try fishing on the other side of the boat. Yet on this day they were not sure what to expect; they had been fishing all night and had caught nothing.
These men had also had a rough time lately. They had been following Jesus, the Messiah, but they were confused with the outcome. Jesus had died and risen again, but Rome was still in control. What was the Messiah up to?
Then, after throwing their nets on the other side and getting so many fish that they couldn't haul the net in, something triggered in their minds: "It is the Lord!" (See Luke 5:1-11.) Eventually they dragged their overflowing net ashore, and it was not even torn. A reminder that God can do more than we can ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20).
Today Jesus wants to remind us that he has called us to follow him too. What is Jesus up to in your life? In your neighborhood? Your community? Your area? Is he calling you to trust him again like you did when you first met him?
Lord, thank you for your abundant love as you keep calling us to love you and others. Amen.
